STUDIOS
Studio B113 has six studio spaces with a variety of uses, available to realize your creative content. Studio spaces are generally available 9 hours a day, Monday through Friday. From lectures to hands-on demos to voiceovers.
Studios E & F (B113E and B113F) are small spaces, typically used for lectures or other scenarios where 1-2 people are addressing the audience. They are by far the most frequented studios. They are virtually identical, allowing 2 lectures/recordings to happen simultaneously (1 in each studio). The black walls and studio lights highlight the speaker(s) while not being distracting. Adding a secondary stream, such as a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, laptop screen capture, or even an iPad, allows for a variety of delivered content. Instructors can stand or sit at the table.
Podcasts are a great way to deliver content. Interviews, discussions, or even lectures can sometimes be easier to consume in a podcast format versus watching a video. Studio G has been set up to get high-quality audio while being a comfy environment for longer content.
The Audio Booth is the smallest and most isolated space designed for a single person at a time. We can record voiceovers, vocals, ADR, or even instruments. The space is connected to our control room so a person in the audio booth can get feedback on their performance.
The Classroom Studio is unique for a couple of reasons. First, there are 5 cameras mounted on the wall that are less obtrusive to a class and allow us to capture different angles; changing shots throughout a recording. The classroom will allow for up to 30 people to be present/participate in a recording. The classroom has been host to cooking courses, guest lectures, group activities, and interviews to name only a few.
Studio J (B113J) is a 'sandbox' space. It can be whatever is needed. We've built sets, had musical performances, set up a green screen, and even filled the room with fog. Like all of our studios, Studio J is soundproof.
