STUDIO IDEAS AND EXAMPLES

WHAT COULD WE DO?

We've got studio spaces but what can we do in them? Need some examples of what has been done or want to see what different setups look like? This is the place! Here are a few layouts we've done, backgrounds we've set up, and videos we've shot in the studio.

The bread and butter of the studio is the elegant 'infinite black' background look. To be more timeless and less distracting than other background options. The subject is lit to stand out and be the primary focus.

Liven up a lecture with the power of a green screen. Entertain with an exotic location or place your visual example (e.g. PowerPoint, animations) behind you for emphasis. A virtual location can easily be any image or with a little more work a video. We can do background replacement live and in post-production for more complicated backgrounds.

We've got the space to set up something a little more custom too. Interviews, talks, panels, and group activities can get a custom look to match the event or course's "look and feel". Maybe it's a specific color you want as a background or a warmer, comfy "at home" look, we can set it up.

Sometimes the best place to learn is outside of the classroom. Tour a restaurant kitchen, visit a community services center, demo in an upholstery shop, or experiment in a laboratory. Simple setups, on location, can take students out of the classroom and help them to grasp concepts and procedures.

The podcast format is a great way to deliver information in a popular but unique way. A host can drive the conversation and guests can reinforce the message. You can schedule a one-off recording or broadcast or even a recurring event.

Sometimes there's an idea that we are working on to make feasible (of quality and economical). We'll post tests and new ideas here as we create them. Feel free to contact us about how you could use these ideas or better yet, let us know what you would like to do and we'll start experimenting!
