The "What" and "How To" Share Your Successes

Thanks for Sharing!

The goal of this project is to share authentic stories from real students about their experiences with the Student Success Center. We want to highlight the value and impact of our services, showing how they’ve helped students succeed both academically and personally.

By showcasing these positive experiences, we aim to reduce barriers for other students who may be hesitant to seek support and to help them see the benefits of using these resources.

These videos may be featured in trainings, on our website, and across other platforms to inspire and inform future students.

We'd love for you to share a simple, selfie-style video of yourself, sharing your experience. Videos should be brief and avoid long stories to inspire the broadest audience. Be specific in aspects of the SSC that helped and how it helped you. Here's a video explaining the videos a little more:

Below is a quick video and a PDF you can download with a list of questions and examples to help you get started.

We also need you to download, fill out, and return a release form.

Feel free to do a couple of videos if it makes sense to. The ultimate goal is to have bite-sized testimonials that connect with the most students.

We've got you covered. We're looking for some selfie-style videos, shot vertically. We have a couple of videos with just a few easy pointers to make sure you create a great video.

Remember, make sure to mention your name at the beginning of the video so we know who's in the video, but don't mention your name in the sharing/testimony part.
Example: "My name is Cosmo." (pause for 5 seconds) "When I first visited the Student Success Center..."

Upload your video file(s) and a completed release form to the link below. Download, fill out, and then snap a picture of the completed release form to upload. Make sure to rename the files so that we can connect your video to your release form, or make sure you have mentioned your name at the beginning of your videos (at the beginning, but before you start sharing, don't mention your name in the shared experiences).
